This episode of Wildshots kicks off in South Carolina, where Tim Harmsen goes behind the scenes at Jacob Grey Firearms for an inside look at precision craftsmanship in action. Known for their stunning 2011 pistols—true works of art—Jacob Grey takes perfection to the micron. From raw metal to “The Hex,” Tim witnesses how engineering meets artistry to create one of America’s most elite handguns.

Blades, Bullets, and Redneck Science

Tim heads to the Smoky Mountains for an action-packed adventure that’s as sharp as it gets. The journey kicks off at the world-famous Smoky Mountain Knife Works, the largest knife store on the planet, where Tim explores the artistry and precision behind the blades of We Knife. There, he reconnects with shooting legend Kyle Lamb, who shares his thoughts on the craftsmanship that keeps professionals equipped for anything. The action continues at Buds Gun Shop, where Tim joins Kyle once again to complete two of Lamb’s signature courses—the intense “Chaos Drill” and the dynamic “Triple Threat.” Together, they test speed, accuracy, and the mental discipline needed to master the range.
